FEES

NEW SPARK has an agreement with the Public Trust.  The Public Trust is a Crown Entity (a part of the NZ Government) and is an organisation that protects student fees, by holding student fees in a trust account and then, on a weekly basis, transferring fees over to NEW SPARK.  This process protects all student fees in case a School closes or stops its business.  It means that unused fees can be returned to students.

Refund Policy

Students who wish to withdraw from courses and claim refunds may do so by informing the Student Services Team in writing.  Withdrawals and refunds will be managed following the NZQA guidelines that can be found on the NZQA website here:

STUDENT SUPPORT / PASTORAL CARE

Our friendly Student Services team speak a range of languages and can give you help and advice as you settle into school life / life in New Zealand.

We work with you to understand your study goals and other needs and make sure that you enrolled in the best course for you.

We can also help you understand how the local transport systems work, how to get accommodation, how to access medical help, how insurance works etc.

We have signed ‘The Code of Practice for Pastoral Care for Students’ which means we will do all we can to support your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.  Basically, if you are experiencing any kind of issues that will interfere with / distract you from your studies, tell one of our Student Services team and they will do all they can to guide you / support you through the issues.
