Martin Renner has built an extensive career in education since 1988, serving as an ESL teacher, Director of Studies, and Vice Principal. Holding a CELTA certificate, Martin has taught in Japan for 12 years and in China for 10 years, in addition to numerous teaching and managerial roles in his home country of New Zealand.
As a former IELTS examiner, Martin authored eight books on IELTS and TOEFL—many of which became bestsellers in China. His deep understanding of language learning, shaped by his own studies of Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and Italian, allows him to connect with students and tailor his lessons to their needs. Martin’s passion for language and communication is at the heart of his teaching, helping students unlock their full potential.
