Tony brings a strong background in English language education together with extensive experience in educational leadership and management. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in English language teaching, curriculum development, and the management of educational institutions. With more than two decades of experience in higher education teaching and administration, he has developed a wealth of professional expertise and practical knowledge.
Guided by a student-centred philosophy, Tony is committed to helping learners strengthen their English language skills, build confidence, and achieve both their academic and personal goals. Passionate about international education, he has a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students from different cultural backgrounds. His approach combines academic excellence with personalised support, creating a positive, engaging, and effective learning environment in which every student can thrive.
Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching, a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied English Linguistics, and achieved an outstanding overall score of 8.5 in the IELTS Academic test and later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in New Zealand. Since then, he has built an extensive career in New Zealand's international education sector, contributing to the development and management of a wide range of international education initiatives. In addition, he has held senior management and international business roles across several countries in Southeast Asia and South Asia, further strengthening his leadership, strategic planning, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Drawing on his extensive experience in both education and management, Tony understands the opportunities and challenges international students encounter in language learning, cultural adjustment, and overseas study. He is dedicated to providing professional, responsive, and compassionate guidance, helping students successfully adapt to their new learning environment and achieve their academic, career, and personal aspirations.
